You think she's an open book, but you don't know which page to turn to, do you?

Joe-a-Joe-Joe
September 10, 2003 - 12:07 a.m.

:::yawn::: yeah, this might be short. I am tired. I am also suffering from an injured fingernail. It's more serious than it sounds, really. Read my livejournal if you wanna know the story. There's a link on the right, for those too stupid to figure that out themselves.

I figure I should write something about hanging out with Joe and Jennifer, and of course about Joe's birthday party. Last week on both Tuesday and Wednesday, Jennifer and I went over to Joe's to hang out. Joe was the only person in his house, so he was lonely and wanted company. Tuesday we helped put his futon together and watched Big Brother. Wednesday we watched Big Brother again. We were planning on going swimming in his pool, but it was broken. Instead Joe and Jennifer drank, and I had juicy juice while we played a drinking game. If I had alcohol in my drink, I woulda been wasted cuz I kept doing stuff that would make me take a sip. Yay for being sober. On Thursday, we drove to Davis yet again. This time we spent the night though. Shannon, Jennifer (Z), and Jennifer's girlfriend Michella (I'm sure I'm spelling that wrong) were there also. We watched some Sex and the City, played some Oregon Trail, and then went to bed. I got a bed to myself for the night.. woo!

Friday was Joe's birthday. Michella and Jennifer cooked everyone breakfast, and it was quite yummy. After we ate and everyone got ready (which took awhile), we went to an Indian casino. This was my first experience gambling, and for a smoke-filled environment it was... ok I guess. I did end up with only four dollars less than I started with cuz I got quite a few quarters on one slot machine, so that was nice.

That night we went to a Thai place because Joe looooooves Thai food (seriously, he makes orgasm noises while eating it). It was yummy, but overly expensive, and they wagered in a 20% gratuity tip. We thought that was rather crazy.

When we went back to Joe's the party started. It was a lot of fun cuz it was mostly Joe's close friends. A few random friends of a friend came, but they left quickly because they didn't bring anything to drink, and Joe wasn't sharing. ha. I got a little tipsy off of a mixed drink. Then I sobered up. Then I got a little tipsy off of a smirnoff ice. Then I sobered up. For the rest of the night I took pictures of the crazy drunk people (everyone else got purdy fucked up) and acted as Jenny's bodyguard. She didn't seem very grateful, but someone had to look out for her! I made her drink like four cups of water to keep hydrated.. haha. She also got a number from a guy from the party next door who thought she was hot. ooooo. It was a fun night for me, but most of the other people at the party were so hungover the next morning they vowed never to do it again. Speaking of the next morning, we went to Baker's Square, and it was very yummy.

I surpose that is all. I think I'm all caught up on the happenings in my life now, since there aren't that many of them. Must. make. friends. I actually talked to a girl who's in three of my classes today, so go me! Progress!

That's all for now. Ta! ~BOB
